The Secret Life of a Black Aspie by Anand Prahlad reading UA Museum of the North 7 PM

The Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series invites you to join us in celebrating the publication of The Secret Life of a Black Aspie by Anand Prahlad winner of the Third Annual Permafrost Book Prize. The Secret Life of a Black Aspie was published by UA Press earlier this year. Anand Prahlad’s memoir “takes readers from school desegregation in the South, to New Age enclaves in the West, to higher education in the Midwest, deepening our understanding of autism, race, and gender.” We will be bringing Anand Prahlad and the acclaimed author, Scott Russell Sanders, who judged the contest, to campus to give readings from their work. The readings will be on Friday, April 14 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium in the UA Museum of the North. Their readings will be followed by a question & answer session.
