Join the Autism Society of Alaska's Board of Directors

The Autism Society of Alaska is currently seeking additional board members who can contribute to our active board with specific knowledge, skills, and/or personal connections to Autism. We invite interested candidates to complete the application below for consideration by our Nominating Committee.

The Autism Society of Alaska (ASA) is a non-profit organization that offers services to improve the lives of those impacted by autism spectrum disorder across Alaska. Autism is a complex developmental disability that usually appears in the first three years of life. It is considered a “spectrum disorder” that affects three core areas: communication, behavior, and social relationships. The incidence of autism has increased in recent years to an approximate occurrence of 1 in every 68 births.
